Christmas Breakfast Morning :D

Dear followers,
On Wednesday our fellow TY class Emnet hosted a lovely festive breakfast for us Amina's. They had briose, biscuits, tea and hot chocolate with those all important marshmallows! We danced and singed and had a good laugh (a lot thanks to our amazing year head ;p).

I would really like to thank my friends in Emnet for a lovely morning....and hopefully Amina will return the favour soon.

Fashion Show!

Dear followers,
Friday last we had a fashion show competition to off our home ec. dresses that we've been making! It was great fun and all the other dresses were beautiful. Our dress turned out really well and Lauren modelled it very well! We were really proud of our work and even we though we didn't get a prize we enjoyed making the dress a lot.

Dance, Pilates and Rugby!

Dear Followers,
So the week before the snow marked the end of our dance classes on a Wednesday! They were great fun, hard, but we had a great time learning our dance. Sharon (our teacher) worked us hard but it was worth it!

You know that saying, 'one door closes and another opems'? That was definitely the case here because we now are starting Pilate's with Angela! We had our first class on Wednesday and it was different to anything I've done before! I have a little bit of pain today but that's the first steps to abs :D!!!!

Rugby also finished up but I got chosen for the team to go to a blitz in Tallaght! I'm on team two. We were supposed to go on the Thursday of the snow week but it had to be cancelled till after Christmas. So I'm looking forward to that after the holidays!

Podcasting Workshop

Dear Followers,
Friday 26th Nov. we had a podcasting workshop. Peter and Chris from the Create School came and showed us how to record and put together a podcast. It was great fun and the podcasts were very funny! They showed us how to add special effects and what software is needed for to make a podcast.
I loved it and it was a valuable experience because I learned something new and that's fun to do! There is no end to what you podcast about. It could be an interview, and talk show, a song anything!

Snow week, Christmas, Excitement!

Dear followers,
So we had for days off because of the big snow fall here in Ireland! It's the most I've ever seen. Even though most adults saw the whole thing as a major inconvenience I didn't. I love snow because it's really pretty and its a great excuse to stay inside with a duvet. It really brought to mind that Christmas is nearly here and that makes me excited because it's when I get to see all my family.

But Christmas also brings Exams, and even though us TYs all have five its still annoying. I don't like exams, but who does at least we only have a few! So I better start studying!
