Dear Followers,
On Monday myself and Aisling went to KFm radio station for an Interview we set up! It was to raise awareness for our F1 teams. We arrived for a 10 o' clock interview and met to guys from another another school who are also taking part in the F1 in schools challenge.
The interview went really well. We were ask questions like 'what is f1 in schools?', 'What research have we done?', 'what is required to compete?' and of course 'is TY a doss year?' which of course we answered no!
Listening to the guys answers to the question was interesting because they had a different approach to the brief of the competition than we had. Especially when it came to doing research and their approach to marketing. But I think that's a good thing about the competition because we get to see different approaches and learn from them.
The whole experience of the interview made the competition a hole lot more real for me. It made March not that far away and really got me thinking serious about the competition. I enjoyed the day and I liked doing something new. But I wouldn't have got there if it wasn't for Lousie in Marketing getting the interview.
TY lets you have these rare experiences. This was just another reason why I love TY!
Thanks again,
Roisin.P.
