Irish Dancing and Who Wants to be a Millionaire!

Dear Followers,
Friday last for our Irish class we went down to the the hall to do ceillí dancing with the other TY class. It was organised by the two Irish teachers! We learned two dances and had a great time! It as nice to get out the class room for a while a do something different. We were learning Irish at the same time though, which is good.

On Wednesday we played Who Wants to be a Millionaire in Irish! We did because so many people were out and and was a way of getting us to speak Irish. The questions were all based on Irish grammar so we were learning that too! We had a great laugh and our Irish teacher made a great Chris Tarrant! No prizes though. We got to €16000 and he said we could continue it next class with the rest of the class! With added music from the internet it was a great class.

I like how TY can give us the opportunity to learn something interesting about the Irish culture and how we can do something different other than class work!
