Dear Readers,
As you know our minicompany GreenHero got to the final of the MiniCompany 'Get Up 'n' Go' Competiton, in the Ospery Hotel in Naas.
We were very excited to go! We improved our stand and even got t-shirts! (the amount of t-shirts we got this year!). Once we got there we set up in no time and were ready to go. The format of the day was the same as the qualifiers so we knew the drill.
This time the cmpetition was much tougher and there were people from all over the country! We meet a lot of them and learned about a lot of great ideas. Plus there were some extra awards up for grabs like a European trip, special Taoisach awards as well as the normal awards.
The day went really well and I though it was much better than the qualifiers! Maybe becuase it was just our group and the wonderful Ms.L! In the end we won 3rd in Quality which was great and got a plate/trophy thing, that will go up in the awards cabinate in school.
Thank you to all the people in and outside of school who helped us get this far! And to all the people kind enough to adviertise and support the cause. Also a huge thank you to the schools for their corperation and great feedback, it made it worth while! And of course thank you to the rest of the Green Team, we did it!!!
